Basketball Game Preview: East Tartans vs. Clay Panthers

East is on a six-game streak of home losses, Clay a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The East Tartans will welcome the Clay Panthers at 7:15 p.m.

On Saturday, East was beaten by Northwest 67-24. The game marked the Tartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clay came into Saturday's contest having lost 18 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They escaped with a win on Saturday against Wellston by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Clay, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.

East skirted past Clay 46-43 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will East repeat their success, or does Clay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
