Volleyball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Elizabeth Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Toros of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-5.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Elizabeth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Torres will take on rival Sotomayor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is set to face off against their familiar foe Maywood CES at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
