Grace Christian won the last time they faced Cornerstone Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Grace Christian never let Cornerstone Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Sara Young paced Grace Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Young got some help from Katherine Smith and her seven assists. Finley Bussiere controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Grace Christian will challenge Fresta Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Appalachian Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
