Roosevelt suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Frederick Golden Eagles

The Roosevelt Roughriders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 102-42 loss at the hands of Frederick. Roosevelt has not had much luck with Frederick recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Roosevelt still got an impressive performance from Seppe Salvatore, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Salvatore's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Peterson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.

Roosevelt's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Frederick, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Frederick, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverdale Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale Ridge is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
