Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence). They claimed a resounding 62-24 victory over the Garinger Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Providence's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Fuller, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. Fuller has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. Anna Fillnow was another key player, going 7 for 14 en route to 15 points and five boards.

Providence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.

Providence's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Garinger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence will venture away from home to challenge East Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garinger, they will head out to take on Rocky River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
