If Alton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Parkway South, they should've done a better job of containing Jack McClanahan. Parkway South came out on top against Alton by a score of 2-0 on Friday thanks in part to McClanahan, who had nine digs and two aces. What's more, he posted three assists, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
The victory keeps Parkway South at an undefeated 4-0. As for Alton, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Looking ahead, Parkway South will face off against Althoff Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Althoff Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Parkway South surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Duchesne at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
