Football Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Indiana School for the Deaf lost against Model Secondary School for the Deaf back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Deaf Hoosiers fell 12-6 to the Eagles. While the Deaf Hoosiers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Eagles 6-0.

The critical scores for Model Secondary School for the Deaf came from Javon Johnson and Darian Vega.

This is the second loss in a row for Indiana School for the Deaf and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Indiana School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alabama School for the Deaf at 3:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they will square off against Rappahannock County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
