Volleyball Preview: Stagg Chargers vs. Shepard Astros
Stagg is 2-8 against Shepard since August of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Chargers will venture away from home to challenge the Astros at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Stagg turned things around against Bradley-Bourbonnais on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Boilermakers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since October 4th.
If you add up the scores from across all three sets (72-67) Stagg actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 26-24.
