While Renaissance's victory against Dearborn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Phoenix sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over the Pioneers on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Renaissance's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Dearborn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
