Baseball Game Preview: Rogers Pirates vs. Collinwood Trojans

The Rogers Pirates will face off against the Collinwood Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rogers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Rogers needed a bit of extra time to put away Collinwood. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 17-9 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Brody Woods was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Woods was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Green, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Easton Bradley, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
