Basketball Game Preview: Washburn Pirates vs. Ramsay Rams

The Washburn Pirates and the Ramsay Rams will face off at 9:15 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Washburn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.

Washburn saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-36 win over Kellogg. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Washburn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ebany Hill out in front who posted nine points and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Hill a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Hannah Williams, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Meanwhile, Ramsay was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Haileyville 70-13. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

The win got Ramsay back to even at 5-5. As for Washburn, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
