Football Recap: Upper Lake Takes a Loss

Upper Lake extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They fell 18-6 to the Fort Bragg Timberwolves. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 34-14 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Fort Bragg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Upper Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-6 defeat against Cloverdale on the 10th. As for Fort Bragg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 41-7 loss against St. Helena on the 10th.
