Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Bloomfield came into Thursday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dugger Union Bulldogs on Thursday. The Cardinals not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bloomfield was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-20. As for Dugger Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Bloomfield and North Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dugger Union, they will face off against White River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
