While Peabody's win against Gibson County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Tide's defense stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. Peabody wouldn't have won without Edgar Chavez, who scored the game-winner.
