Softball Recap: Dierks Comes Up Short

Dierks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Horatio Lions. If the Outlaws were looking for revenge after losing 21-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dierks' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Horatio, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Coincidentally, Dierks and Horatio will both be playing Cutter-Morning Star the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Outlaws will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
