AJ Reynolds and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
  AJ Reynolds's big game helped extend Martinsville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Reynolds turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 327 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
 Martinsville's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Reynolds' next  contest is against Mooresville on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  effort.

Bo Polston Turns in Season-Best  Effort
  Bo Polston produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Decatur Central to the win  on Friday. Polston threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns. The  effort  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in November of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
 The  win was  the third in a row for Decatur Central, bringing their record for this year to 4-2-1. It'll be Battle of the Birds when  Hawks challenges Perry Meridian at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Leugers Came Up Big in Franklin Community's  34-13  Loss
 Franklin Community was sadly handed a  loss on Friday, but  Alex Leugers did his best to prevent it. Leugers turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 64 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 95 yards.
 Leugers is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Greenwood on Friday. When  Leugers last faced the Woodmen  back in October of 2023, he rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry.

Kasmir Hicks Makes It Two for Decatur Central
 The second Decatur Central player making an appearance here is  Kasmir Hicks, and for good reason. He made a tackle. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 51 yards.

Luke Starnes Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Franklin Community
  Luke Starnes's rushing tear continued  on Friday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 113+  rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Franklin Community had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Starnes it was a similar story. Starnes rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Grizzly Cubs duked it out  back in September of 2023.
