The Daniel Boone Trailblazers will head out to square off against the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Daniel Boone's tournament run continued when they took on Greeneville on Friday. Daniel Boone came out on top against Greeneville by a score of 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trailblazers.

Meanwhile, Elizabethton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Smoky Bears 13-2. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Cyclones, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Elizabethton pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Daniel Boone, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
