Basketball Game Preview: Menomonee Falls Phoenix vs. St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots

Having just played yesterday, the Menomonee Falls Phoenix will jump right back in to play the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Menomonee Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully St. Joseph Notre Dame likes a good challenge.

Menomonee Falls is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since February 16th on Friday. They fell just short of Palo Alto by a score of 69-66. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Phoenix came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 38th in Wisconsin, while the Vikings are ranked 149th in California).

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Notre Dame ended up a good deal behind Oakland on Friday and lost 64-50.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Menomonee Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
