Basketball Recap: Marlboro Academy Triumphs

Marlboro Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Christ the Cornerstone Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Dragons came out on top against the Defenders on Thursday by a score of 64-38 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Dragons pushed the score to 49-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Defenders had little chance of recovering from.

Lance Truesdell and Bradley Hogan certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Truesdell posted seven points and 12 boards, while Hogan had 11 points and six rebounds. Hogan is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

The win got Marlboro Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
