The Delavan Panthers made easy work of the Oregon Hawks on Friday and carried off a 9-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Braden Arrenholz made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Trace Kight-Garlisch was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Colton Miller was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Delavan's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oregon, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
