While Greer didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers with a sharp 7-2 win on Friday. Greer might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Blue Ridge from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Emilio Elvir led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Greer and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two contests. As for Blue Ridge, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
