Recap: Napoleon Wildcats vs. Southview Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northview, the Napoleon Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Southview 40-18. The result was nothing new for Napoleon, who have now won three matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Napoleon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Tassler, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Rosebrook, who scored ten points.
Despite the loss, Southview still got an impressive performance from Cassie Schramm, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Napoleon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Southview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Napoleon will be home for the holidays to greet Bryan at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Bryan will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Southview will be home for the holidays to greet Wauseon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wauseon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southview in Ohio (Wauseon is ranked 184th, while Southview is ranked 624th).
