On Saturday, the Boonville Pirates came up short against the Joplin Eagles and fell 72-60.

Boonville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Joplin, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Boonville will venture away from home to challenge Eldon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Joplin, they will host Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
