Basketball Recap: Wolfe County Triumphs

Wolfe County lost to Bluegrass United back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Wolfe County Wolves managed a 47-41 victory over the Bluegrass United Bluehawks.

Despite the loss, Bluegrass United still got an impressive performance from Allie McGuire, who posted 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Kendall Duerson, who earned seven points and five rebounds.

Wolfe County's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Bluegrass United, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-19.

Looking ahead, Wolfe County will face off against Sayre at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bluegrass United has already played their next match (against Berea), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
