Recap: DePue Little Giants vs. Leland Panthers
The DePue Little Giants lost against the Leland Panthers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. DePue took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Leland. DePue has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
DePue's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pancho Moreno, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Vance Hayes, who scored ten points.
DePue has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Leland, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
