Softball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Pine Forest Trojans. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sydni Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pine Forest, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Westover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 defeat against Pine Forest on the 7th. As for Pine Forest, they have also already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against St. Pauls on the 6th.
