Nature Coast Tech is 8-1-1 against Hudson since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sharks will look to defend their home field against the Cobras at 7:00 p.m. Nature Coast Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Nature Coast Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Hernando, taking the game 6-2.

Nature Coast Tech got a great performance from RAYMOND GROETSCH as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. GROETSCH has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aidan O'Nolan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Nature Coast Tech hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Hudson came up short against South Sumter on Friday, falling 8-2. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Wilson put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Wilson wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Tysko, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Nature Coast Tech's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Hudson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Nature Coast Tech took their victory against Hudson in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Cobras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
