Volleyball Recap: Mission Bay Comes Up Short at Home Against Pacific Ridge + How To Watch

Mission Bay unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Pacific Ridge Firebirds on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Mission Bay was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Looking ahead, Mission Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against High Tech Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will take on University City in a tournament on Friday.
