Basketball Recap: Southwest Atlanta Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Utopian Academy for the Arts last Monday, Southwest Atlanta Christian came back down to earth. The Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors fell to the Putnam County War Eagles 58-52. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the War Eagles earlier this season, when they won 55-43.

Southwest Atlanta Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 22-2. As for Putnam County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Southwest Atlanta Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Putnam County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lamar County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
