Basketball Game Preview: Silo Rebels vs. Vanoss Wolves

The Silo Rebels are taking a road trip to challenge the Vanoss Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Silo came up short against Hugo and fell 49-39. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Vanoss was beaten by Dale 83-41 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Pirates are ranked seventh).

Vanoss' loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Silo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Silo came up short against Vanoss when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 49-41. Can Silo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
