Basketball Recap: Lyman Falls Short Against Ranked Lander Valley

On Thursday, Lyman faced Lander Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lyman Eagles fell to the Lander Valley Tigers 39-34. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Payton Anderson, who posted seven points and six rebounds. Owen Hansen was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lander Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
