Volleyball Recap: Gordon Central Comes Up Short

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Gordon Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southeast Whitfield County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Gordon Central will take on Woodland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Sonoraville on the 16th.
