Softball Recap: Cherokee County Warriors vs. Cleburne County Tigers

Cherokee County not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 11-1). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cleburne County Tigers an 8-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 back in March.

Emma Hill made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Those 18 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
