Softball Recap: San Gorgonio Comes Up Short

San Gorgonio lost against Eisenhower back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The San Gorgonio Spartans fell 7-4 to the Eisenhower Eagles.

Anaiz Barajas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Elizabeth Zamudio was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

San Gorgonio's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Eisenhower, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Gorgonio will square off against Banning at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Banning is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season. Eisenhower will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rialto at 3:45 p.m. on April 4th.
