Flat Rock is 8-2 against Huron since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Flat Rock came up short against St. Mary Catholic Central and fell 38-30. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Falcons/Kestrels recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite their defeat, Flat Rock saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Layla Holbrook, who posted 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Kopp, who put up eight points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Huron put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Jefferson by a score of 64-53. The Chiefs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Huron pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Flat Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Flat Rock was able to grind out a solid win over Huron in their previous matchup back in February, winning 55-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Flat Rock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
