Softball Recap: Chandler Wins Going Away Against Estrella Foothills

While Chandler put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Estrella Foothills. Chandler blew past Estrella Foothills 25-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Chandler.

Lily Eaton looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Lily Kolsrud was a standout: she fired off three triples, four runs, and three RBI while going 5-for-5. Another player making a difference was Aminae Obichere, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.

Chandler always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Estrella Foothills only posted an OBP of .182.

Chandler's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Estrella Foothills, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Chandler will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Notre Dame Prep at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Estrella Foothills, they will challenge Show Low at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
