Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

After flying high against KIPP Blytheville last Friday, Hillcrest came back down to earth. The Hillcrest Screamin Eagles might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Marked Tree Indians an easy 66-46 victory. The defeat continues a trend for the Screamin Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Marked Tree, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will take on McCrory in a tournament on Friday. Marked Tree will take on Bradford in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
