Baseball Recap: Oswego East Wolves vs. Bolingbrook Raiders

Oswego East entered their tilt with Bolingbrook with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Bolingbrook Raiders on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oswego East also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Allen Chorba looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single hit, only one earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Mason Palermo was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Jacsen Tucker was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Oswego East has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Bolingbrook, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswego East will take on Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bolingbrook, they will play host again on Monday to welcome Homewood-Flossmoor, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
