Soccer Game Preview: Weiser vs. Payette

The Weiser Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Payette Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weiser is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Weiser came up short against The Ambrose School on Thursday, falling 5-2.

Meanwhile, Payette came up short against Parma on Thursday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for Payette in their meetings with Parma: they've now lost four in a row.

Payette's goal came courtesy of Keller King, who's now up to seven this season.

Payette's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for Weiser, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Weiser beat Payette 4-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
