Baseball Recap: Acorn Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Acorn unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-0 to the Mount Ida Lions on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Looking ahead, Acorn will square off against Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Ida, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-2 win against Cossatot River on the 7th.
