Spring Hill won the last time they faced Battle Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-1.

Spring Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-12.

Hazel Slusher paced Spring Hill's offense, picking up 19 kills. Slusher got some help from Grace Kruer and her 14 assists. Izzy Fulton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Battle Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Hill will take on rival Cascade at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Battle Creek is set to face off against their familiar foe Forrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
