Softball Recap: La Puente Takes a Loss

La Puente came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Workman Lobos, falling 23-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Lobos since March 5, 2015.

La Puente dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Workman, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, La Puente will look to defend their home field on April 4 against Bassett at 3:30 p.m. As for Workman, they will take on Southlands Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Workman's pitchers better be ready for this one: Southlands Christian has averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
