Basketball Recap: Nampa Takes a Loss

Nampa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 70-51 fall against the Skyview Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Hawks are ranked 14th).

Nampa's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Skyview, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nampa will square off against Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyview, they will take on Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.
