Basketball Recap: Bishop Watterson's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Bishop Watterson was the 52-45 winner over Hilliard Darby when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bishop Watterson Eagles fell 64-55 to the Hilliard Darby Panthers on Monday.

Bishop Watterson's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3. As for Hilliard Darby, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Bishop Watterson and Hilliard Darby should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Bishop Watterson will challenge Teays Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 465 places (32 vs. 497). Meanwhile, Hilliard Darby (ranked 52nd) will meet Dublin Jerome (ranked 585th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
