Baseball Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

Macomb fell victim to Sasakwa and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. The Hornets have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Sasakwa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Coming up, Macomb will take on Stonewall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sasakwa, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Milburn on the 7th.
