Last Thursday, First Philadelphia Prep made easy work of South Philadelphia and carried off a 17-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for First Philadelphia Prep.

Meanwhile, Swenson Arts & Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-1 to Olney on Thursday. The Lion haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Swenson Arts & Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Healy, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.
