Basketball Recap: Beach Falls Despite Big Games from Heaven Walker and Torren Mcrae

Beach played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Windsor Forest Knights, falling 57-33. The Bulldogs were down 46-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the defeat, Beach had strong showings from Torren Mcrae, who posted 14 points, and Heaven Walker, who had 13 points. The dominant performance gave Walker a new career-high in points.

Rakiyah Bush went supernova for Windsor Forest, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and dropping a double-double with 25 points and 13 steals. Windsor Forest is undefeated when Bush posts three or more steals, but 7-9 otherwise. Molly Smith was another key player, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Beach dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Windsor Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Beach nor Windsor Forest have any future games scheduled.
