Volleyball Game Preview: Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

The Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Jordan Beetdiggers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Judge Memorial Catholic came up short against Cottonwood and fell 3-1. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Colts 25-11 in the first set.

Judge Memorial Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Jordan can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Bear River 2-1.

The victory got Jordan back to even at 11-11. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Judge Memorial Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Jordan when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
