Basketball Recap: Crooked Oak's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harding Prep, Crooked Oak was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-22 win over the Northwest Classen Knights. The victory was some much needed relief for the Ruf-Nex as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Crooked Oak's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Northwest Classen, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crooked Oak will venture away from home to challenge Luther at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Luther has lost six straight at home and Crooked Oak seven straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Northwest Classen, they will head out to face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
