Montello came tearing into Saturday's contest with 19 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Johnson Creek Bluejays. The Hilltoppers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bluejays, so the Hilltoppers were just returning the favor.

Brooklyn O'Malley paced Montello's offense, picking up 14 kills. O'Malley got some help from Charlee O'Malley and her 14 assists. Charlee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Montello's victory bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Johnson Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Montello has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Abundant Life on the 11th. As for Johnson Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Deerfield on the 11th.
